This week’s ProTeX People features

Mike Giles is our Fleet and Equipment Coordinator. He enjoys working with all of the different departments. The most interesting project for him is currently working with our I.T. professional on getting lockers set up for home storage of the nuke gauges. Additionally, he is studying to become a Certified Welding Inspector.

Sometimes, Mike goes out to the desert for target shooting. He is mostly an outdoors man, spending his free time with his girlfriend, on his motorcycle, or on his boat. One day, he would like to own a burlesque club that houses a cigar bar.

Jacob Oldengarm is a field tech who claims, “My favorite part about working at Protex are the amazingly hard working and friendly coworkers I have in the field and in the office. I have only worked with this company for a year but the connections with my coworkers feel much deeper than that.” The most interesting project for him has been right here in Tempe with Habitat for Humanity.

During his free time, Jacob likes to go fishing, shoot guns, and play catch with his golden retriever, Maverick. He is from California and used to install wet/dry utilities. Jacob has had the same friends since high school, and they all spontaneously decided to move out to Arizona together. What a way to seize the day!
