Been a while since I wrapped up a build. Here's our customer's 1966 Lincoln project. 14.25" of rotor goodness clamped by the tried and proved Aero6 caliper. Reverse mounted hat assembly requires rather costly wheel studs. Should do the job👍👍

While there have seldom been any complaints about the EPB system the one that does pop up on occasion is the fact that the caliper body does not hide the backing plate of the brake pad. This exposes both the black backing plate and often the part number printed on the pad.

TCE now has what we will call Hide-a-Pad Plates in both black and red to match your calipers and dress up the appearance of your EPB system. A simple plate behind the outer brake pad and sold in a two pack configuration.

Coming to our EPB page soon they will be available as an add-on for kits and available separately for previous customers.

Rocking the Colorado today! Not one but TWO Colorado/Canyon builds completed. Max attack: 15" rotors with Aerolite calipers. Easy fit kit - 2pc rotors, direct bolt on brackets and slide them calipers down onto the studs!

Explorer Sport Trac Adrenaline showing off! Local customer stopped by today to express his satisfaction in one of our front kits.

I think he was a little hesitant when we started the process of building this awesome 15 in Wilwood SX6 shod big brake kit. Having come from an alternative manufacturers kit on another vehicle- which he recently took off and literally threw away- there was some trepidation about whether a small shop like tce could handle his needs. He could not express enough his satisfaction with both the fit and the net result using this product.

The TCE electric parking brake conversion kit is hitting customers doorsteps daily with much success 👍

However a recent internet expert 🙄 has called into question the proper fitment of this caliper. So I figured I'd take a minute and put your mind at ease letting you know that what you see is in fact correct.

The EPB system uses an oversized caliper mounting height. *Because of that you cannot use this caliper on an 11.75-in rotor and still fit it inside a 15 in wheel. For this reason today we would offers a number of 11.0 in diameter rotors to do that. The EPB pad is very short.

Nevertheless.... Rest assured that the mounting height shown is with pad flush to the edge of the disc as it's intended to be. But if you wish to change it a little bit within the adjustability range of the bracket: move it down a tad. *Before the slide pins rub the rotor.

Bring your old Wilwood drum and disc rear kit into the 21st century today 👍

Explorer Sport Trac Adrenaline gone wild! Nothing like 15" rotors and Wilwood SX6 calipers on your daily!

We took it to a whole new level for this customer. Wheel clearance was to be an issue so we bumped the bearing out 1/4" so not to damage this awesome caliper. Big brakes take big space 😁
