Today is the FINAL Finished Friday

After 14 years,
As of May 1st 2026 Team Bee Forge LLC has been dissolved.
The business is officially closed. All accounts have been closed.
This account will remain active with this message for a few weeks, then it will be deleted.

Unfortunately I am left with NO viable alternative.

It was brought to my attention that my shop and business were uninsured.
Turns out a knife making business is NOT covered under your home owners policy.
Any structure that has anything to do with the business and its contents are also not covered.
I checked with other insurance companies. No one would touch it.
I did check on “business” insurance, with several companies. The cost is beyond ridiculous.
The least expensive quote was 1/3 of my yearly income.
I have exhausted every avenue and I am left with only 1 viable option...
Shut it down.

I want to thank everyone who has supported me and followed me for the last 14 years.
As most of you know I am truly passionate about my craft.
I am unable to express in words how I feel about being forced to give it up in this manner.

Before I am asked,
No, I do not know what I am going to do now.
Yes, I really looked into every alternative.
No, there really is no viable option.
Yes, I have inventory left.
No, I don’t know what I am going to do with it yet.

The handle is stabilized dyed Hackberry.
The millwork and pins are inlaid with crushed opals.

I'm working on it Wednesday...

This is a new series I am going to attempt to do.
It will show stuff I am currently working on.
I spent most of today sitting at the grinder working on the hollows.
I hope to start on the flats tomorrow.
