James Ashton Bryan, 72, of Flagler Beach, Florida was given a mandatory notice to appear in court citation on Dec. 18, 2025, for possessing four undersized lobsters. Islamorada Marine Deputy Nelson Sanchez was on patrol at approximately 3:15 p.m. near Mile Marker 75 when he observed a group snorkeling for lobster. An inspection of their catch showed four lobsters were undersized of which Bryan took responsibility and was cited.
