Our latest project rolled out of the shop this weekend.Like some of these projects tend to do we pushed until the last minute to finish. My good buddy Denny Maclosky has been patiently waiting for the final step of the multi year restoration on his dad’s last racecar. We took care of mounting all the electronics and a complete rewire. Utilizing some of our components that we manufacture in house like our “00” Button Mount. Jp Schuster handled all of the paint work to bring it all together. To top off the project Denny and I had planned to meet up at MIR this weekend to deliver the car and we both could enjoy a nice weekend riding some wheelies.

Cars are rolling out pretty steady getting everyone ready for the upcoming race season. Things haven’t slowed down on the machine shop side though. Getting caught up on some custom orders. A new shipment of material just came in to restock coil brackets and dome light mounts. We should be caught up in the next two weeks and fulfill back orders along with new orders.

A few months back we finished up some updates on Jono Gerber’s Mac Sherrill Dragster. He was looking to modernize the interior some. Dave Braskett modified and mounted a new fiberglass dash in it and J.p. Schuster handled the paint match and design work to pull it all together. From that point we took it in and relocated and remounted all the electronics onto one mounting panel added some interior lighting to it and re wired the car utilizing all new digital delay products.

We finished up another big project this past week in the shop. Ryan Henry’s 55 bel air wagon used to be his grandfather hotrod and decided he wanted to give it a whole new look. It started out with John Koziel for the cage work as well as the Fab 9 and ladder bar set up. After than Ryan handled the body work and paint on it. An original color modernized really sets it off. Last stop was to our shop for mounting components finish assembly and wiring. We all had a large amount of time and effort into this one but everyone is happy with the end result.
In house we handled mounting the fuel cell , battery, nitrous bottle and air compressor under the factory floor. Finished out the rear cargo area. Installed the headliner, windlace, door panels, interior trim and carpet. Wiring, plumbing and all the misc assembly to get this thing running. Ryan plans to race this one as well as street drive it so on top of the normal race components we did an exhaust, turn signals, reverse lights, hi/low beams, cigarette lighter and one of our new billet dome light mounts operated off the door jam switches. Overall I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

This past weekend the World of Wheels was in Pittsburgh. We did a couple custom parts on this bike as well as modifications to the original mag wheels. This particular bike is owned by Justin Maglicco. Justin has worked part time in the shop with me over the last 3 years. He helps keep things running smooth taking on whatever tasks need done. Justin’s bike ended up taking second place in its category.
