Someone starting or growing a pressure washing business may need one machine to handle several types of jobs. Concrete needs plenty of water flow. Building exteriors need good reach and pressure control. Fleet washing usually needs hot water and equipment that can run for long periods.
The short answer is yes, one setup can handle all three, but it needs to be set up correctly.
For driveways and parking lots, you need enough water flow to run a surface cleaner efficiently, usually around 8 to 10 gallons per minute. For larger areas, two machines can be run in tandem.
For buildings, you need adjustable pressure, soft wash capability, and enough hose to work without constantly moving the rig.
For fleets, you may need hot water, water recovery and handling, and tanks large enough to keep you working between water hookups.
At Ameritech Manufacturing, we build and service commercial pressure washing systems, hot water units, trailers, and skids in the Tampa Bay area, and we ship nationwide.
The goal isn’t simply to buy the biggest machine. It’s to choose equipment that fits the work you actually do, including the types of jobs, travel time, and access to
water.
