What is there not to love about BMWs 1995 US Spec M3 3.0L inline-6 paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.
No traction control, no ASC — just pure driving elegance with deep roots and an analog connection to the road.

Joe brought in his ‘95 M3 for complete subframe overhauls along with some general maintenance. While inspecting one of the rear suspension mounts on the chassis side we noticed a crack. We repaired the crack as well as installed reinforcement plates on the chassis side as well as subframe side for the sway bar bushing mounting tabs. also supplied the front subframe reinforcement plates and a 95a full bushing kit. This bushing kit features all of the rear subframe bushings, differential bushings, trailing arm bushings and front lower control arm bushings.

With new ball joints / control arms front and rear, as well as coil-overs the suspension is nearly bulletproof on this M3 and it is an absolute joy to drive weather just out for a leisure full drive, or chasing someone down in the corners on the race track.

We are excited to see Joe enjoy this weapon both on and off the race track.

This 38k-mile ’95 BMW E36 M3 rolling into RMUSA South felt like stepping back into the mid-’90s... back when BMW was building cars with soul, restraint, and purpose. Finished in legendary Dakar Yellow, this M3 is a time capsule from the era that defined the brand for so many of us.

The foundation was already right where it needed to be. BC coilovers, Apex ARC-8s, and a GT spoiler to give the car an aggressive look.

Inside is where we began on this one. We installed an Alcantara Momo 3-spoke wheel along with a Continental head unit that blends in like it could’ve come straight out of a period BMW catalog. It’s the kind of setup you’d expect to see in an old Roundel magazine feature... clean, functional, and driver-focused. We also adjusted the ride height for a more comfortable street feel. To finish it all off, the M3 received a full in-house detail so it could leave our doors looking even better than when it came in.

What truly sets this Dakar M3 apart is its history. Purchased new with a matching yellow folding bike as a dealer add-on, it’s a perfect reminder of when BMW ownership was a true lifestyle, even on 2 wheels. According to the owner, the car was also featured in magazines back in the day, documenting its place as a genuine piece of BMW lore.

A massive shoutout to Rosy for bringing this one to RMUSA South and trusting us with something so special. It’s an honor for us to enhance and modernize these cars with the proper care and touch that they deserve. 🏁

This exceptionally clean E36 325ic rolled into RMUSA South for a comprehensive round of preventative maintenance and upkeep. While mileage is incredibly low (37K miles), age still plays a major role. We addressed key wear items including a new starter, expansion tank, cooling system hoses, intake manifold gaskets, and additional supporting components.

It’s a good reminder that time is just as demanding as miles when it comes to older BMWs. Original rubber and plastic parts are prone to dry rot and fatigue, regardless of how gently a car has been driven. Proactive maintenance is the difference between preserving a car like this and chasing problems later.

Huge thanks to Alex for continuing to trust RMUSA with the care, maintenance, and preservation of his E36. Always a pleasure keeping cars like this on the road the right way.

We dove in, cleaned up all oil buildup, and completely resealed the bottom end! There’s something oddly satisfying about servicing these old machines. Each one tells its own story the moment you pull it on the lift.

Enthusiast-owned for over 10 years. The owner Adam takes great care of this gem and strives to show that less is more with the E36 platform. Starting life as a bone stock automatic 328 which he then converted to a ZF 5-Speed, 3.15 L*D, S52 cams, and an M-sport aero kit to top it all off.
