I expect that it will work much better than the original brackets. One of mine was broken. The installation is a bit more tricky than portrayed in the install video.
I had to use double clamps to get the desired compression and angle. It would also be nice if the spring had a clear marking for saw bracket side and lever side.

Had been struggling a long time with DeWalt 12" miter saw to stand attachment. It started getting tricky to make work very early on. Then at last couldn't disconnect the saw from the stand. Found the product on the internet. It's such an improvement and simple and quick to install as replcements to the sorry OEM junk. 2-3 days at most to get shipped and installed in less than 20 minutes. Works perfect and product is very solid - no cheap hollow plastic parts.

I’ve had these replacement levers on my Dewalt 780 for the last few months and what a blessing that someone came up with something better than the flimsy releases that it came with. The are 10X more solid feeling than the originals. Probably because they actually ARE solid!! Bravo they work like a charm.
