🖇️ New on the ME Blog: When a Non-Profit and a Local Business Move Forward Together

This project was a true partnership. St. Vincent de Paul and Pacific Box worked side-by-side to move an underutilized property forward, despite floodplain and stream constraints, City of Tacoma and FEMA review, and existing structures.

We’re grateful to have played a part in this work, and to support a collaboration that benefits both organizations and the community.

For the Point Defiance Loop Trail improvements, our team reimagined the original design to preserve the natural character of the park, and saved 20 mature trees that were slated for removal.

Smart engineering = a better trail and a healthier forest for our community!

📝 New on the Blog: Regional Drone Surveying Workshop

This month, our Survey Manager, Bonnie Mayo, led a hands-on drone surveying workshop for the LSAW South Puget Sound Chapter, bringing together industry professionals for a day of live demos and education.

By covering LiDAR, SLAM scanning, and FAA guidelines, Bonnie highlighted how quickly the industry is advancing and how we’re integrating these tools into our work at McInnis Engineering.
