Took our new gantries out this week for a heavy rigging project — pulling a 135,000 lb shear out of a pit and loading it onto a lowboy trailer.

The move was completed utilizing our hydraulic gantry system along with our 40-ton capacity remote control fork truck. Another safe and successful project completed by the team.

Fun project this week moving this structure using a technique called “Jack & Slide.”

This hydraulic system allows us to safely move equipment, buildings, and other massive structures weighing hundreds of tons with precision and control. Always impressive watching heavy loads glide into place with the right engineering and teamwork behind it.
