Update within the shop this week, disassembly is still going on, but almost complete. check valves on the water side have been removed and look to be in good shape. Also inspected the slide valve portion, the slide valves, and their rods to which are in good condition. I also started looking at the hydrostatic lubricator and it’s valves. For the engine to have sat in the mountains in West Virginia for decades, it is a very clean engine. Once the piston rods are removed, the cleaning of every part will be under way as well as the making of new piston rings. Stay tuned for further updates!
