📣 Caught Ya’ Thinking Like an Owner! Join us in congratulating Michelle Schwierjohn, our September Employee-Owner of the Month! Michelle is a Geometrics/Traffic Engineer in the Transportation group at TWM. She was selected as Employee-Owner of the Month for her leadership, knowledge, and commitment to her fellow employee-owners. She leads complex geometric and traffic projects while also taking on the important role of teaching and mentoring others in this specialty. Her willingness to share her expertise and help others grow reflects the collaborative spirit of TWM.
When asked what employee ownership means to her, Michelle shared, “Employee ownership means knowing that everyone in the company wants each other to succeed and is willing to take accountability, because that ultimately contributes to both company growth and personal reward.” She continued, “It helps employees feel that their opinions are respected, valued, and taken into consideration. Employee ownership also creates a mindset where individuals feel empowered to take initiative, find ways to improve projects, and identify better ways of working that make processes more efficient and fluid.”
