While we are nationally and globally known for our engineered tube and coax fabrication solutions across many industries, Winton Machine also designs and manufactures precision tube fabrication equipment that meets the standards of the medical device and diagnostic equipment industry in the United States and worldwide.

Today, we're featuring the Winton CTL25A Wet Abrasive Saw, which is just one of several machines we build to serve the medical device and diagnostic equipment industry. If your production teams struggle with heat buildup, blade wear, and inconsistent cuts on hard metal tubing and extrusions, the Winton CTL25A Wet Abrasive Cutting Machine delivers clean, burr-free cuts with minimal heat-affected zones—perfect for high-strength alloys, stainless steel, and titanium.

From clean cuts to complex bends in thin-wall stainless steel and aluminum tubing, our machines are engineered for accuracy, repeatability, and cleanroom-conscious manufacturing, required for everything from surgical instruments to diagnostic assemblies and implantable components.

Made in the USA starts with the people who make it happen.

This Labor Day, we’re proud to recognize the hard-working men and women who keep American manufacturing moving forward.

At Winton Machine, Proudly Made means more than where we build our machines. It’s about the people behind them—working as a team, constantly improving, solving challenges, and doing what’s right for our customers.

From engineering and fabrication to assembly, service, and support, our team builds every Winton machine right here in Georgia.

We’re proud of our people. Proud of our work. And proud to keep manufacturing in the United States of America.

Happy Labor Day from Team Winton!

Big shout out to Caterpillar and the leaders in Arkansas for their decision to invest in making training more accessible, defining what skills are needed for future jobs, and connecting individuals to careers in modern manufacturing.

“Caterpillar understands that the future of manufacturing depends on investing in people just as much as technology. By connecting training directly to the needs of employers, this initiative will give more Arkansans the skills to step into good-paying careers and give businesses another reason to invest, expand and create jobs in our state.” - Arkansas Governor Sanders

This engineered solution showcases a variety of Winton's capabilities to support our clients' production and precision requirements. The CTL23L uses a CNC lathe-type tube cutting process rather than a shear or break-off method. This process creates chips during cutting to produce clean, repeatable cut-to-length tube components.

Servo-controlled positioning is used for:

Tube feed advancement
Cross-slide cutting movement
Programmable cut lengths
Automated part processing

The result? A precision tube cutting process designed for demanding industrial tube processing equipment applications.

We know. This post may not be easy for some of us to understand. But we all benefit, whether we realize it or not, from controlled repeatable precision that is so important and essential for mission-critical applications in aerospace, defense, satellite communications, and quantum computing.

By ensuring every part is formed identically, Winton helps maintain stable insertion loss, predictable phase delay, and high signal fidelity.

Engineers and technical operators in these unique industries require consistent bend radii and centerline paths, minimizing dielectric stress and preserving impedance uniformity across assemblies.

So here's the bottom line: Winton Machine designs and builds CNC-driven systems that give engineers precise, repeatable control over coax geometry. If this sounds your coax fabrication needs, we're happy you found us.

It's not always the big things that cause the big problems. In high-pressure applications, the weakest point in a system is rarely the tube—it is the connection. That is why cone and thread connections have remained a trusted standard for decades across industries where failure is not an option.

If you are working with stainless steel tubing in high-pressure environments, understanding the coning and threading process and how it is produced can directly impact reliability, safety, and production efficiency.

Meet our angle measuring machines for repeatable bend-angle checks near production! In stock and ready to ship.

A bend is more than a mechanical detail—it is part of the assembly’s electrical performance. Overbending semi-rigid coax can compress the dielectric or deform the outer conductor, changing the precise cable geometry that helps maintain consistent impedance, insertion loss, and return loss at high frequencies.

Waiting on first-article inspection can hold up setup decisions. Finding the tube or sheet metal angle variation later can mean more parts headed toward rework, fit-up problems, or scrap.

Winton's AM40, AM75, and AM150 give operators a stable measuring surface and a clear digital reading for repeatable bend-angle checks near production. Verify setups and in-process bends sooner—then adjust while the work is still at the machine. Great for R & D, too!
