🎆 ** – 4th of July Edition** 🎆

From the Automation Division at **McIver Engineering & Controls**

It’s not just Friday... It’s **Fourth of July weekend** ..........and we’re feeling the red, white, and blue spirit! 🇺🇸

Our team is usually busy building cutting-edge industrial automation and custom robotic systems. But today, we’re pressing pause to enjoy some well-earned time with family, friends, and fireworks.

To celebrate, we’re sharing **5 random U.S. history facts** you might *not* know:

1️⃣ The original Independence Day was actually July 2nd — that’s when the vote happened. July 4th is when the Declaration was officially adopted.
2️⃣ Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be our national bird instead of the bald eagle! 🦃
3️⃣ “The Star-Spangled Banner” didn’t become our national anthem until 1931, over a century after it was written.
4️⃣ The White House didn’t have indoor plumbing until 1833... imagine running a control panel without proper infrastructure 😅
5️⃣ The very first White House Fourth of July celebration was hosted by Thomas Jefferson in 1801.

No matter how you’re celebrating today, we hope it’s safe, joyful, and full of all the best American traditions.
