Requesting help from my friendly Jeep community. We’re looking for a CJ7 frame to help out a veteran who’s fighting Parkinson’s and has been waiting a long time to make his dream come true.

He recently bought a 1982 CJ7 from a local pastor and brought it to A&P Transmissions for repairs. Once the team got it on the lift, they discovered the frame was rusted all the way down to the springs and gas tank. There’s simply no point in putting money into it as‑is.

When the veteran went back to the seller, he was told it “wasn’t his problem anymore” — and that all he could offer was prayers. So now this older veteran is stuck with a Jeep he can’t drive, can’t restore, and can’t enjoy… after saving up to finally make this dream happen.

If anyone out there has a CJ7 frame in decent shape, or knows someone who does, we would love to swap everything over and give this man a real solution. It would be an incredible act of kindness and a powerful way to honor someone who has served.

This community has done amazing things before — and I believe we can do it again.

🚗🔧 It’s a guy thing at A&P Transmissions today!

If you drive by the shop, you’ll probably see two men standing out front, tinkering with their Jeeps like it’s a Saturday morning ritual. One of those Jeeps is the 1994 Wrangler we’re raffling off next Saturday — and yes, tickets are still available.

Today is tune‑up day: tightening, shining, adjusting, and making sure this classic beauty runs smooth and looks sharp for its new home. Nothing like a little Jeep therapy and some good old‑fashioned elbow grease.

If you haven’t grabbed your raffle ticket yet… now’s the time. Someone’s driving this baby home next weekend.

Hello everyone,

With the weather forecast calling for snow this weekend, our top priority is keeping everyone safe — especially those who would be traveling from out of town. Because of this, we are canceling the raffle drawing scheduled for this Sunday, February 1st at Stars and Strikes.

The drawing has been rescheduled for:

📅 Saturday, March 14th
🕑 10:00a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
📍 Rosie the Riveter Car Show
964 Hwy 78, Ridgeville, SC
Hosted by the Dorchester Heritage Center & the Vintage Vixens

This new location allows us to support both nonprofits and gives the car community a perfect opportunity to see the 1994 Jeep Wrangler raffled at a car‑focused event.

Ticket holders who would like to register their car in the Rosie the Riveter Car Show can do so at a discounted rate of $15.
Simply present your Jeep raffle ticket at registration to receive the discount.

Vendors who hold a Jeep raffle ticket will also receive a discounted vendor fee of $25 if they would like to participate as a vendor at the Rosie the Riveter event.

🚗🔥 C‑Cab Update! 🔥🚗

The paint is finally done on the 1923 C‑Cab — and she’s looking so good we’re pretty sure she winked at us.

We’ll be picking her up and bringing her back to the A&P Transmissions and Auto Service LLC shop for all the final adjustments. Yes, this project has taken a minute… okay, maybe more than a minute… but when you’re resurrecting a century‑old hot rod, greatness takes time.

And trust us — the results are absolutely worth it.

🚗💖 Project Spotlight: Our 1953 Morris Minor Convertible Makeover! 💖🚗

If you’ve stopped by the A&P Transmissions and Auto Service LLC shop lately, you may have heard of our newest little superstar in the paint booth — a 1953 Morris Minor convertible (Series II) getting the full A&P glow‑up treatment.

This classic British beauty originally came with an 803cc engine, rack‑and‑pinion steering, and all the charm you’d expect from a car that prefers enjoying the scenery over winning any races. Slow? Yes. Adorable? Absolutely. Worth restoring? Without question.

And now… she’s going PINK.
Not “maybe pink.” Not “kind of pink.”
We’re talking full‑on, head‑turning, bubblegum‑meets‑vintage‑glam pink.

Before anyone panics — yes, we know everything looks a little wild under paint‑booth lighting. But once the chrome accents, black tires, black convertible top, fresh interior, and new seat covers are all back in place, this little Tourer is going to shine like she just rolled off a 1950s movie set.

Think classic British charm with a modern sass‑queen twist.

Paint and bodywork are wrapping up, and this beauty should be out of the shop and tearing up the streets soon!

Huge shoutout to Gary Seed for the incredible hand‑painted finish on this 1923 C‑Cab Express — a true vintage masterpiece brought to life for A&P Transmissions. 🎨👏

Meanwhile, Paul at A&P Transmissions and Auto Service LLC has already worked his magic under the hood, building a beastly 302 with a 671 blower. This ride isn’t just pretty… it’s packing serious power. 💪🔥
