WE ARE HIRING - General Labor / Floating Manufacturing Associate
South Central Manufacturing Corp.

South Central Manufacturing Corp. is looking for a dependable and flexible team member to join our manufacturing team in a floating support position. This role involves helping in multiple areas of the shop as needed and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is willing to learn different tasks throughout the facility.

Responsibilities
-Receiving and organizing incoming materials
-Packing and preparing orders for shipment
-Deburring and finishing parts
-Honing and shaking operations
-Assisting machine operators and production staff
-Operating machinery when needed and properly trained
-Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
-Supporting production needs throughout the shop

Qualifications
-High school diploma or GED required
-Strong work ethic and reliability
-Willingness to learn multiple shop duties
-Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
-Good attention to detail
-Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred, but not required
-Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods

If you enjoy organizing inventory, working with vendors, and supporting a production team, this could be a great opportunity — even if you’ve never worked in a machine shop before. We’re willing to train the right person who is eager to learn.

What You’ll Do
• Keep our tool room organized and stocked
• Order supplies and tools needed for production
• Track inventory and make sure we don’t run out of important items
• Work with suppliers to get the best pricing and delivery times
• Support our production team by making sure tools are ready to use
• Learn how measurement tools are used in manufacturing
