Meet the team! 🛠️

Adrian works at our Sugarcreek location (most of the time), where he helps with whatever needs to be done, from maintenance, safety, IT, on-site rollforming, to occasionally making deliveries. He has been with Premier Metals since 2021.

His favorite part of the job is getting to learn and figure things out, and he enjoys the randomness of his schedule. He implements our company value of Innovation by fixing and improving things to make his coworkers’ jobs easier or better.

Adrian loves traveling and experiencing different cultures and has been to 27 different countries. Rather than one vacation spot, he has a long list, but if he had to choose, he would prefer the mountains rather than a beach. He also has many hobbies, including cars, fixing or building things, sports, and tech, and is always looking for a new project to work on.

Are metal roofs noisy?

🔻 Short answer, no, not when they're installed correctly.

That "loud in the rain" idea usually comes from old barns or sheds where metal panels are installed over open framing with no insulation. In that setup, sound travels easily.

In a typical home or commercial building, a metal roof is installed over:

• Solid roof decking (like plywood/OSB)
• Underlayment
• Insulation

All of that absorbs and dampens sound, making it comparable to and sometimes even quieter than traditional shingles.

• Quality of installation
• Presence of installation
• Attic space/ventilation
• Panel type and fastening system

If your roof is built like a modern system, you're not going to notice a difference during rain or storms.
