AMADAS Industries

AMADAS Industries American Made * Advanced Design * Absolute Service In early 1963, a successful partnership was formed between Oliver K. Hobbs and J. Carlie Adams.

The partnership combined engineering, manufacturing, and marketing expertise to produce a new generation of peanut harvesting and processing machinery. During the decades that followed, new products were added to meet the needs of the marketplace. Today Amadas Industries produces equipment in Suffolk, VA, Albany, GA. and Cordoba, Argentina.

Every AMADAS 2130 comes together right here.
At our Kenyon Road facility in Suffolk, Virginia, skilled hands and precision processes merge to build a machine designed to perform when it matters most. From the frame up, each 2130 is assembled with the kind of attention to detail that only comes from decades of experience—and a commitment to doing things the right way.
This isn’t just assembly—it’s where reliability is built in, step by step.
Because when it hits the field, it’s not just a piece of equipment…
it’s a workhorse.
🇺🇸 The AM in AMADAS stands for American Made.

For this week’s , Jonathan Graham takes a closer look at the AMADAS 2130’s separator cylinder drive system—bringing a fresh approach to a familiar area of the machine.
When customers pull back the right-hand shield, they’ll notice something different. The traditional twisted belt has been eliminated, along with several chains and idlers.
These design improvements may seem small individually, but together they reduce complexity and contribute to greater reliability, easier maintenance, and long-term value for the operator.

AMADAS Industries is proud to celebrate the recipients of the 2026 Stanley A. Brantley, Jr. Memorial Scholarship, announced last night during a special ceremony at Nansemond River High School.
Congratulations to this year’s award recipients:
🎓 Owen Bailey — graduating from Southampton Academy and pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering at Virginia Tech or NC State
🎓 Watt Ellenor — graduating from Nansemond River High School and pursuing a degree in Heavy Equipment Technology at Nashville Auto Diesel College
These outstanding students represent the spirit of curiosity, hard work, and determination that defined Stanley A. Brantley, Jr.
Stan believed deeply in the power of education—not just in the classroom, but as a lifelong journey. He inspired those around him to continuously learn, grow, and contribute to something bigger than themselves. Whether that path leads to engineering, skilled trades, or serving as a valued member of the A-Team, the mission remains the same.
We are honored to support the next generation as they carry forward that legacy.
