Starting off, we would like to give our sincere thank-you’s to everyone who has reached out and prayed over our driver, Reece Solander, this week. As many of you have heard, he was in a very serious freak accident while farming on Monday night. He has an amazing village of friends, family, and his wife standing behind him, as well as a phenomenal team of doctors and nurses keeping him comfortable during this journey of healing and recovery.
With Reece resting and healing at home, we wanted to formally make the announcement that Hunter Kennedy out of St. Angsar, IA will be piloting the #5 Skyrocket by Balanced Speed at Tri-State Speedway this weekend with USMTS - United States Modified Touring Series. Hunter has an outstanding record in the B-Mod division, we have confidence that he will catch on quickly in the A-Mod class. Hunter knows a significant amount about the program and cars, and has a great coach and crew helping out behind the scenes. We have no doubt he will make us proud no matter the outcome of the race. Gabe will be in the 7G like normal, and we wish both of these men the best of luck! We will race Friday-Saturday night. Merch can be found in the Balanced Speed merch trailer all weekend as well.
