Innovative Pump Solutions (IPS) is looking for a dependable, hardworking Delivery Driver to join our team.

If you show up when you say you will, know how to properly hook up a trailer, can secure a load without needing someone to remind you, and aren't afraid to lift something heavy, we should probably talk.

What We're Looking For:

Reliable and dependable – self explanatory
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Comfortable pulling, backing, and maneuvering a trailer
Know how to secure a variety of loads and make sure they stay where you put them
Able to safely load and unload everything from pumps and motors to pipe, fittings, and electrical equipment
Able to lift up to 110 lbs.
Good communication and customer-service skills
Able to work independently and manage your time
Willing to help around the warehouse when you're not on the road
Previous delivery, construction, warehouse, or pump-industry experience is a plus

What You'll Be Doing:

Deliver products safely and on time to customers and jobsites
Load and unload trucks and trailers
Properly secure loads before hitting the road
Operate a company truck and trailer safely
Help customers get their equipment where it needs to go
Keep the delivery truck clean and in good shape
Help with receiving, stocking, and general warehouse duties
Represent IPS professionally as you're often the face of our company when you pull up to a jobsite

A Few Things You Should Know:

This isn't a "sit in the truck and listen to the radio all day" kind of job. Some days you'll be delivering product. Other days you'll be unloading trucks, loading a trailer, helping in the warehouse.

We don't expect you to know everything about our industry on day one. What we can't teach is reliability, work ethic, common sense.

If you take pride in doing things right, aren't afraid to get your hands a little dirty, and understand that two taps, and "that's not going anywhere" may not be an acceptable way to secure a load, we'd like to hear from you.

Some jobs are about more than replacing equipment, they're about continuing a legacy.

Last week, one of our customers, Hunter from Letts & Demery, a 4th-generation pump installer, pulled a Goulds Water Technology GS Series submersible pump from service that was originally installed by his grandfather somewhere back around 1992. After an incredible 34 years of dependable operation, it was finally time for replacement.

In an industry where reliability matters and downtime is rarely an option, stories like this remind us why quality equipment and skilled craftsmanship go hand in hand. The original installation stood the test of time because of both a well built pump and the expertise of the people who installed and maintained it.

This week, we had the opportunity to travel up to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota for hands-on training with the team at SJE Rhombus.

Over the course of the training, we learned pump panel setup, programming, troubleshooting, and the many capabilities their control solutions have to offer. Beyond the technical knowledge, one of our biggest takeaways was the incredible culture at SJE. Their staff works as a cohesive team and fosters a family-oriented atmosphere that was evident throughout the entire experience.

The training was well organized, and we returned with valuable knowledge and expertise that we can immediately put to work for our customers in the field.

We're excited to add SJE Rhombus control panels to our custom wastewater basin packages. To better serve our customers, we'll be stocking both simplex and duplex panel configurations, along with a wide variety of floats and level sensing options.

A big thank you to the entire SJE Rhombus team for hosting us and investing in our success. We appreciate the hospitality and look forward to putting this training into action!
