Napa Stockton Auto & Truck Parts is looking for highly motivated people for job openings in parts counter sales at Stockton, CA location. The Parts Counter Associate will provide professional services while delivering an excellent customer service experience for all customers. This team member will assist with sales, customer service, and store appearance and operations.

Essential job functions:
• Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Provides a high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock
• Locates out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
• Pulls orders for delivery to the customer making sure all parts are tagged with the customer names and invoice number.
• Follows up on back-ordered items
• Replenishes assigned inventory daily.
• Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer.
• Ensures that all customers receive their copy of the invoice.
• Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Cleans and stocks display items as needed.
• Assists with yearly inventory and spot checks during the course of the year as mandated by the parts manager.
• Sets annual goals and works to achieve them. These goals will be reviewed during the annual evaluations.
Qualifications:
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
• Able to work retail hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Retails sales experience minimum 5 years experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is desired
• Ability to diagnose automobile problems and recommend solutions

We are looking to bring on Outside Parts Sales individuals that will have responsibilities for this territory as we increase NAPA Stockton Auto & Truck Parts business presence in the area.

We are looking for an individual that can work independently with limited supervision, is passionate about their work and growing NAPA Stockton Auto & Truck Parts footprint, and has had proven success in achieving results.

• Identify and profile prospective customers, developing and applying strategy as necessary to obtain orders.
• Call on prospective customers and assigned accounts within your assigned territory; may deliver parts to customers to build relationships.
• Service existing accounts and maintain contact with customers in relation to their requirements
• Connect customers to other internal departments as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on inventory, market, and customer trends.
• 5+ years of successful outside sales experience, meeting or exceeding goals.
• 5+ years of experience with the heavy-duty truck and trailer industry, agriculture, & knowledge of multiple brands of parts.
• Strong oral and written communication skills & great organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to build trust and strong relationships with customers and internal partners.
• Self-motivated to drive sales.
• Bilingual.
• Valid driver’s license.

Napa Stockton Auto & Truck Parts is looking for a Parts Delivery Driver. The parts delivery driver performs the duties assigned below under the direction of the store’s Parts Department Manager.

We are seeking professional customer service experience and excellent communication skills. We are looking for self-motivated team players with a positive attitude!

Duties
All duties are to be done daily along with any other special assigned duties.
• Deliver Agriculture Parts to Customers, and between Company locations
• Minor Truck & Trailer service and maintenance
• Vehicle cleaning (wash and minor detailing)
• Miscellaneous jobs as required

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license. Clean driving record and insurable
• Great work ethic & team player – levelheaded, detail oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, and professional and customer focused.

• Ability to maintain a clean driving record with a high level of safety awareness on the roadways.
