We heard you, Stevens Point! 📢 We are officially bringing filament to Sunset Engineers / 3D PRINTING STORE !!

Over the last few weeks, so many of you have stopped into the shop asking if we sell filament locally. Every time, we’ve had to say no 😳—but we hate leaving our local 3D printing community hanging!

We are officially putting together a massive bulk order of Bambu Lab filament this week to stock our shelves. We are bringing in a large supply of the most popular everyday types and colors to keep right here in town, including:

PLA Basic, PLA Matte, and PETG

Essential colors like Black, White, Gray, and more!

Want to make sure we grab something specific for your upcoming projects?
Before we officially finalize the order this week, we want to give you the chance to call dibs. If there is a specific material type, a unique color, or a specialized Bambu Lab filament you’ve been dying to get your hands on without waiting for shipping, drop a comment below or send us a direct message! 🛠️ Calling all young Inventors and Engineers in Portage County, Wisconsin!
Sunset Engineers LLC & 3D PRINTING STORE is thrilled to announce our new STEM Programs for Youth, designed to equip the next generation with the tools to Think, Design, and Create.

This isn't just a generic class in a rented space where students sit and "read" about how do develop their ideas. Instead, our hands-on program is hosted directly in a professional product development environment and 3D Printing Studio, where product development, reverse engineering, 3D printing, and real-life testing are done every day. Students will gain unparalleled hands-on experience using the same software (like Bambu Studio, Solidworks) and equipment we use for custom technical designing and manufacturing. This provides the most value and real-world experience for our future builders.

The programs guide students through a four-stage process:
1.Conceptual Thinking: From the whiteboard to the big idea.
2. 3D Modeling: Designing their creations digitally.
3.Prototyping (3D Printing): Bringing designs to life using our Bambu Lab H2D and CAD software.
4.Testing: Analyzing prototypes and making technical specifications.
5.Take home their custom product they can be proud of. 😊

The "Dragon Dungeon" at Sunset Engineers just got a serious upgrade! 🐉🔥 We recently hung up these custom 3D-printed wall torches and finally wired up the lighting. Now, the whole space is bathed in an awesome, atmospheric glow!

Everything you see—from the glowing torches and mythical castle towers to our massive collection of articulated dragons—is completely 3D-printed right here in our shop.

🔥🏰 The Dragon Dungeon Just Got a Lot More… 'LIT'! 🐉🔥

We're one step closer to finalizing the atmosphere at Sunset Engineers' 3D Printing Store! The final touch was adding atmospheric lighting to the custom 3D-printed torches we recently hung over the Dragon Dungeon area.

As you can see, the space is now bathed in a powerful, warm glow, really showing off the incredible detail in our collection of:
✅ Articulated Dragons (the big ones are must-see!)
✅ Mythical Towers
✅ Dragon Eggs

Our hearts go out to the Danen and Jacobi families as they navigate the aftermath of the devastating tornado in Ringle. 🌪️❤️

Community is at the heart of everything we do, and we are so proud to support events like "Rally with Ringle." Graffiti's Sports Pub is hosting an incredible fundraiser on July 25th, 2026 to help these families rebuild.

Wow, what an incredible time we had this past Saturday, May 30th, at our Grand Opening of the 3D Printing Store, our new retail space for 3D printing fun and functional items! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us at Sunset Engineers.

But the excitement isn't over yet... TODAY IS THE DAY WE DRAW THE RAFFLE WINNER! 🎟️✨

One lucky person is about to take home this absolute masterpiece: a massive 30" long 3D-printed dragon, stunningly crafted in Ice Blue and Silver Silk PLA! 🧊🥈🐲
