This position requires some competence in metal working, wood working, and the general knowledge of construction projects. You will be the part of a team that help the plans of engineers come to life and become solid structures.
Job Description:
This position consists of repairing and maintaining all production and facility equipment, new equipment installations, and maintaining preventative maintenance programs. The qualified candidate will have experience in Machine building/repair, Plant maintenance, needs to be proficient in reading electrical/mechanical prints, and must have good attendance record.
Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Repair and maintain high speed production equipment
Install new equipment
Follow P.M. Program
Machine/line troubleshooting · Rebuilding equipment Job
Have an understanding of electrical safety practices for high voltage circuits
Have an understanding of hydraulic and mechanical safety practices
Must be able to trouble shoot and repair hydraulic circuits
Must have working computer knowledge
Must have ability to use ARC, MIG and TIG welders
Basic operational skills are required
Possess the desire to learn specific equipment that pertains to the position
Must have ability to work unsupervised
