Responsibilities and Duties
• Utilize set up sheets, drawings, and notes from the programmer to set up 3, 4, 5-axis parts on vertical milling centers.
• Must be able to set your own tools per job requirements.
• Change cutting tools and adjust feeds and speeds per job requirements.
• Must be familiar with G and M codes.
• Must be able to perform minor edits to the program at the machine as needs.
• Must be willing and able to set up and operate multiple machines at a time.
• Must be fully familiar with common inspection equipment and perform preliminary inspections of your work.
• Must be fully capable of interpreting aerospace drawings, parts lists, specifications, and client requirements.

Robotic Weld Technician
Job Description:
Fast growing auto/aerospace company looking for a robotic weld technician to work in our new 70,000 facility in Sterling Heights to coordinate and develop processes and procedures as it relates to welding in an effort to provide efficient and quality welding applications for a new product launch as well as current projects.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
• Set up of robotic and resistance weld operations and Poke-yoke apparatus Fixture modifications and adjustments
• Assist quality with first piece inspection process
• Operate and program robotic weld cells
• Assist in the training of the operators on all weld operations
• Responsible for verifying and documenting changes to process parameters
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot automated welding cells and equipment
• Robotic troubleshooting and/ or programming
• Knowledge of multiple welding processes including laser welding, gas metal arc welding, and resistance welding
• Ability to manually weld and pass the welding certification if needed
• Fanuc and Motoman Welding proficiency a plus

Responsibilities and Duties
• Unload materials, merchandise from incoming vehicles, and stack them to assigned places
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing
regular maintenance
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
Requirements
• Proven experience as forklift operator
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
• Excellent physical condition and coordination
• Valid certification to operate forklifts
• Valid Driver’s License
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Description:
The primary objective of the Sheet Metal Fabricator includes the fabrication, assembly, installation and repair of sheet metal products and components

Requirements and Responsibilities:
• Setting up and operating fabricating machines including break press, metal
muncher, rollers, etc.
• Have general knowledge and understanding of reading blueprints, datum’s
tolerances and assure quality workmanship
• Lay out, measure and inspect part dimensions to blueprints, internal drawings or
written instructions using height gauges, micrometers, dial instructions and
calipers
• Experience in qualifying sheet metal parts to fit models, check fixtures and or
print specifications
• Layout, trim, saw and sand, shear, punch, brake or otherwise fabricate parts per
established procedures and production standards and to stated and acceptable
quality standards
• Qualify part details to tooling, fixtures and models to print specifications
• Ability to identify any cost cutting or process improvements
• Fill out and complete all paperwork needed before moving parts to next
operations for processing
• Ability to perform exceptional housekeeping duties a must
• Accept other duties and responsibilities as assigned or when required by
customer needs

Education and Experience:
• High school graduate or GED
• Minimum of one year sheet metal fabricating experience
• Minimum of one year work experience using small hand tools
