Today We Honor JV Reins after news of his passing. JV was deeply rooted in the Wilkesboro community and NASCAR’s early days. An engine builder for Junior Johnson and crucial influence in the Baby Grand National series, JV Reins had a legacy of his own in this area. JV frequently bought his parts from us while always telling us a story from “back in the day”. He will be missed!

ITS BACK! After a 2 year disappearance, our Red Cross that was placed as a Memorial for Steve Heintz was laying on the ground beside the new Red Cross!
We were shocked to see it back and have no explanation for its reappearance! Only thing we can think of is…Jesus got ahold of the perpetrator and conviction lead them to return it!

This is terrible news! We pray someone buys our NC tracks to keep them open as racetracks! Piedmont Dragway and Galot Motorsports Park are the closest tracks to us caught up in this IHRA scandal! Guys, they’re on the chopping block unless an investor keeps them as racetracks! Not to mention the 10 other racetracks that are up for auction across the nation!
Time will tell if they remain as racetracks or turn into something different…
Anybody know a couple wealthy guys???

Darryl Cuttell is getting out of the racing business. Darana Motorsports Holdings has hired Tranzon Auction Services to sell 12 tracks, including Atlanta Dragway, Virginia Motorsports Park, Rockingham Speedway, Memphis, Heartland, National Trail, Dragway 42, Milan, Empire, Kil-Kare, Piedmont and Galot. Sealed bids are due Nov. 17.
