A bit of nostalgia today from Bruning and Federle. We did a little facelift to the exterior of our "old" building a few weeks back. We replaced the old iron post from 1963 with a stained wood beam plus other accents around the windows, etc. Looks Good!
Jimmy Paul, our Plant Manager saved the iron post and we have created a history lesson in our lobby. Old hard hats from employees from 1970 through 2012 along with well aged welding hoods. The mounted picture shows the original building in 1965 which B & F only occupied about a third of the building. In 1963, the logo was cut out by hand while elbows and transitions were drawn by hand and cut/welded by true craftsmen. We have a little more work to do on the project, but I think it shows the early dedication by those employees years ago - to make B & F what it is today.
