😌 We know starting CPAP or BiPAP therapy can feel overwhelming. At Walker Home Medical, Statesboro's only locally owned durable medical equipment provider, we offer both in-store, one on one setups with our Respiratory Therapist and remote setups with equipment shipped straight to your door and follow-up calls from our Respiratory Therapists to answer any questions and guide you through those first nights.

Need supplies between visits? You can order CPAP supplies over the phone and we'll ship them directly to your door at no additional charge, so keeping mask cushions, tubing, and filters current is simple and convenient.

We also support a wide range of home medical needs, from oxygen and walking aids to patient room products and equipment repair services. If your address, contact information, or insurance changes, or if equipment isn’t working as expected, please notify us so we can coordinate follow-up and make sure you’re comfortable. You’re not alone in this; we’re here to help.

Move slowly and let the person set the pace. Encourage use of the handrail and the walker, stand close on their stronger side to offer steady support, and give calm, clear verbal cues; pause between steps and don’t rush.

We sell walkers, rollators and other mobility aids, and we talk with families about practical ways to make stairs safer.

Walker Home Medical is proud to announce that we're expanding our service area to include Vidalia, Lyons, and all of Toombs County effective September 1, 2026.

The closing last year of Alliance Home Medical and more recently Chapman Pharmacy DME has presented challenges for patients needing medical equipment in the Vidalia and Lyons area. Walker Home Medical wants you to know - we've got you!

Our team will now be providing home medical equipment and supplies — including oxygen, CPAP, ostomy supplies, continuous glucose monitors (CGM) and power mobility equipment — to patients throughout the Vidalia/Lyons area.

👋 A heads up about pennies — and your change!

As many of you may have heard, the U.S. Government has officially discontinued the production of pennies. As a result, when pennies are unavailable, cash transactions at Walker Home Medical will have any change due rounded to the nearest nickel.

How rounding works on cash transactions:
• Ending in .01 or .02 → rounds DOWN to .00
• Ending in .03 or .04 → rounds UP to .05
• Ending in .06 or .07 → rounds DOWN to .05
• Ending in .08 or .09 → rounds UP to .10

This rounding applies only when pennies are unavailable for exact change. Card and electronic payments are not affected and will continue to be processed to the exact cent. Your existing pennies remain valid currency and are still happily accepted!
