Centre Foundation's Centre Gives is more than a fundraiser—it’s a reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together. Each year, this online giving event shines a spotlight on the incredible nonprofit organizations working every day to support our neighbors right here in Centre County. At Reese Hackman, we’re proud to take part by supporting organizations whose impact goes far beyond a single day of giving. While our contributions matter, they pale in comparison to the time, compassion, resources, and dedication these organizations pour into our community year‑round.

At RH, our annual giving initiative is shaped by the causes that matter most to our employees. Team members nominate meaningful charities, and through a shared voting process, we determine where our collective giving goes.

This year, we are honored to donate to the following local nonprofits:

Housing Transitions
Housing Transitions offers shelter, guidance, and hope to Centre County residents facing housing insecurity. Centre House is the county’s only 24/7 homeless shelter for individuals and families, with additional services including supportive housing, rapid rehousing, and homelessness prevention.

Out of the Cold: Centre County
Out of the Cold Centre County is a low‑barrier homeless shelter serving individuals experiencing homelessness by providing shelter, meals, and supportive services on the path to permanent housing.

Penns Valley Youth Center
Penns Valley Youth Center provides students and families with hope, worth, and friendship by offering a fun, safe environment that encourages healthy habits and wise choices.

State of Hope Foundation
STATE OF HOPE FOUNDATION INC works to provide disadvantaged children in Centre County with positive, confidence‑building life experiences that enrich lives and instill hope.

Team Ream Foundation
Established to preserve the memory and carry on the determination of Brandon Ream, the TEAM REAM FOUNDATION supports financially disadvantaged individuals in State College and surrounding areas who are affected by cancer and serious medical conditions.

The Tides Program
Tides Program provides compassionate, healthy support systems for grieving individuals of all ages—so no one has to grieve alone. They accomplish this through peer grief support groups, education and resources.

Opportunities to support organizations like these exist all year—not just during Centre Gives. Whether through donations, volunteering time, or sharing resources, every act of support helps strengthen our community. These nonprofits are making a difference every single day, and we’re happy to do our part in supporting them.
