Last Thursday, we hosted a Networking Mixer with the Addison County Chamber of Commerce. It was a great opportunity to get to know members of the local business community, share a bit about Vermont Frames and Foam Laminates of Vermont, and to give away some sweet prizes!

Behind every Vermont Frames timber frame is a set of SIP panels built right here in our shop.

The process: EPS or GPS foam core, glued to OSB on both faces, pressed, and then cut precisely to the specs of your build. Every panel is fabricated to fit your specific project — not generic sheets trimmed on site.
The result is a tight, well-insulated building envelope that goes up fast and performs for decades.

Most people think about the timber frame- SIPs are another part of the build that will ensure your home is cozy and comfortable for decades to come.

Your standard insulation isn't this thick... or as comfortable.

This house always makes a great one to throw back to!

Sometimes the the vertically framed shots are perfect for capturing the essence of the beautiful spaces we have the privilege of co-creating.

How about those swings, eh? :)

We've always loved this project - part of an amazing job we did back in 2021 in upstate New York.

In fact, we loved it so much, that one of these photos serves as the inside cover photo to our main brochure. If you haven't had a chance to check out our full brochure head over to the link in our bio and visit our 'Resource Library' where you'll find our brochure as well as a bunch of other important resources to learn more about what we do, terminology used in timber framing, and more.

Great builds don't happen without great builders.

A shoutout to Rob Shea, whose craftsmanship and attention to detail makes our timber frames shine.

This kind of feedback means everything to us:

"Really great company experience... Measurements were provided and the kit came fully ready for assembly. Everything fit perfect. I highly recommend this company. Price was surprisingly reasonable."

A 15x24 Douglas Fir pavilion, fully kitted and ready to assemble. This is exactly what we aim for on every project — a seamless experience from design to delivery.

Thank you to this happy client. We loved building this one.

The hammerbeam. One of timber framing's most iconic trusses — and one of the most complex to build.

A hammerbeam allows a bent to span a wide distance using shorter pieces of timber, which means more intricate joinery and a finished result that you can't help but notice. It's not something we get to build everyday, but we sure do love the opportunity - check out these shots from the shop & on site.
