NEBB Certified TAB Technician

Location: Stafford, TX | Full-Time

Cogent Commissioning is seeking an experienced NEBB Certified Test & Balance

Technician to support commercial and institutional HVAC projects across the region. This role requires strong technical ability, professionalism, and a commitment to high-quality documentation and results.

Responsibilities

Perform TAB work per NEBB standards
Conduct HVAC functional testing & troubleshooting
Review drawings, submittals, and SOOs
Produce accurate field reports and closeout docs
Coordinate with contractors, owners, and Cogent team members

Requirements

NEBB Certification (Technician or Professional)
2+ years commercial TAB experience
Solid HVAC and controls knowledge
Valid driver’s license

Preferred

Experience with CxAlloy, Bluebeam, Excel
Exposure to LEED or Commissioning work
