Saturday was our final Christmas Party. We closed the store for the day and transformed the sales floor into our party venue. We had our first employee from 1976 in attendance along with all current staff and our families. At the end of the party a champagne toast was made to commemorate the 86 year history of our store and the wonderful employees and customers during my 42 years.

Saturday we said goodbye to Tim Murphey after over 19 years at Oak Hill Hardware. Tim is looking forward to his new career at Lowes . We will miss Tim even in the short time remaining and are thankful for his years of excellent service to the store and community. We loose a friend as well as an employee and wish him well in all of his future endeavors.

At Oak Hill Hardware our 40% OFF liquidation sale continues this week and next week INCLUDING the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. We have heard from some of our customers that there might be a misconception about our store having already closed - We want to be very clear that we are in the middle of our liquidation sale with much merchandise from which to choose and we are still OPEN and plan to be OPEN for the next few weeks. Our current business hours are Monday through Saturday 8 AM to 5 PM.
