Over 102 years of extraordinary, combined service in this photo! Service that may have included changing my diapers.. It may be hard to imagine what this means to a 75 year old, family business - it certainly is hard to put into words - but it is not lost, nor unappreciated.

It may be that nostalgia is the bitter-sweet emotion of, not one memory, but a collection of memories strewn out over space and time. An incomprehensible, but nonetheless, real thing.. That gets close to what I experience as we close the doors on 75 years, and open the doors to the next..

“Thank you” just isn’t enough. But just the same, thank you. Sincerely. From the bottom of 4 generation’s of heart. I appreciate each and every moment. The moments we celebrated, and even the tough ones we survived. There is nothing but joy and gratitude for the contribution of every individual who came thru our doors. There’s no point in distinguishing “customer” from “employee”. We couldn’t have done it without either. Some may no longer be with us, but their legacy lives on in our next step.

We hope to see you in our new location: 1616 Woodson Rd. Overland, Mo. 63114 (less than 1 mile from old location)
