Production Technician
Essential Functions
• Fabricate finished gaskets from various materials with CNC manufacturing equipment and/or by hand efficiently and with maximum utilization of material
• Receive, document, and fill orders in accordance with sales/purchase order
• Ensure quality standards are met in all areas as outlined in Quality Manual
• Operate a fork truck and/or hand truck to material in plant and to/from trucks
• Attached appropriate labels, tags, and information to products and packages ensuring that all products are properly and accurately labeled
• Maintain established inventory stocking levels including receiving and restocking of both finished good and raw materials
• Package and ship finished goods in accordance with sales/purchase order
• Work in a safe manner that protects and promotes the health and well-being of the employees and the environment
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness
• Project a favorable image of the company to promote, foster, and enhance public recognition of the company and its products and services.
Required Experience / Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience and/or training related to job functions. Some training will be provided.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
Preferred Experience / Education
• Experience or training in manufacturing processes/environment
• Experience in shipping and receiving
• CNC manufacturing equipment experience
