Steven Zhao’s latest deal is coming out of the ground on Plummer Boulevard in Chatham, near the High School. This project will have 24 units in a townhome/apartment mix. MEC provided the civil engineering services for the project and permitted the project through the Village of Chatham.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Our President, Phil Martin was awarded the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT award from the Engineering Society of Illinois at their meeting today. Phil was unable to attend since he was out of state, but our Vice-President, Adam Pallai was able to be there and accept the award on his behalf.

Prairie State Plumbing and Heating is back at the lake installing more low pressure sewer force mains, this time in the area of the Camp Widjiwagan Girl Scout Camp. This project is a collaboration between City of Springfield-Public Works, CWLP and the Sangamon County Water Reclamation District. Martin Engineering is providing the design and construction services for the lake area sewer projects.
