A little grain storage history worth a look! 🌾

This vintage Behlen Grain Systems bin is believed to date to the 1950s, and roughly 70 years later, it’s still storing grain. Originally used for grain drying, it continues to serve its owner today.

From all of us at Sweet Material Handling, it’s always good to see a piece of agricultural history still earning its keep.

Have a vintage Behlen bin or an old piece of Sweet equipment still working for you? We’d love to see it! Drop a photo and its story in the comments. 📸

More storage taking shape in Britton, Michigan! 🌾

Frey Construction is wrapping up the er****on of a 19m × 26m Behlen bin at Marion Grain Elevator, adding nearly a quarter-million bushels of storage capacity.

Marion Grain Elevator already has mostly Behlen bins. President Ron Roehm shared that his experience with several well-known brands has led him to choose Behlen for maximum reliability, a meaningful vote of confidence from someone who knows grain storage firsthand.

Pictured putting the finishing touches on the job are Austin Schmucker, Marcus Miller, and David Gorrell, from left to right.

Thanks to Frey Construction and their crew for the hard work, and to Marion Grain Elevator for continuing to choose Behlen!

Harvest was already rolling in Temple, Texas! 🌽🚜

A few weeks ago, David Berry stopped by Marek Ag for a site visit during his trip to visit dealers across Texas. Corn harvest had begun in the area, giving him a look at the season as it got underway.

Thanks to Marek Ag for welcoming David during a busy time of year. Wishing their team and customers a safe, successful harvest!

Every hat has a story. 🤠

During a recent dealer visit with The Nay Company in Waxahachie, Texas, Behlen Grain Systems’ David Berry visited several projects and learned about a memorable tradition.

Mr. Daryl Nay wore a new hat for each project. Once the project was complete, he placed that hat in a glass case in his conference room in honor of the customer and their project.

A collection of hats and a collection of customer stories. Hats off to that! 👏
