Paul Mueller Company We build equipment that cools, heats, processes and stores products you use everyday - like milk, beer, wine, medicines, food and water.

Since our inception in 1940, Mueller has evolved into a global process solution provider with nearly one million square feet of manufacturing space under roof. Our products are used in over 100 countries in a wide variety of applications. We offer a full range of tanks/vessels from shop fabricated alloy vessels through 20 feet in diameter to field fabricated vessels up through 2,000,000 gallons, but we do more than tanks - we provide process solutions. We offer integrated systems, modular fabrication, field construction, plant maintenance and repair, and complete turnkey project execution. Mueller delivers outstanding equipment and unique solutions to the process industries with our technical expertise, innovative engineering, and manufacturing resources. We know that building a quality product starts from the ground up. Our sole purpose is to improve profit performance for our customers through our products and service offerings. In April of this year, Paul Mueller Company became the first and only stainless steel manufacturer in Missouri to offer a Registered Youth Apprenticeship program.

Recently, Springfield Public Schools (SPS) and Missouri State University (MSU) visited our Springfield location to speak with three of our apprentices: Bella Moser (Glendale High School), Micah Powell (Kickapoo High School), and Drake Owen (Kickapoo High School). They have been working and learning with us since this summer and continue their apprenticeships, working various hours between 5:00 am and 11:00 am, while balancing school, sports, band, and other daily activities.

Moser’s supervisor, Chad Thornton, shared, “She is ahead of where I thought she would be right now,” when asked how she was doing. Moser said she feels ahead of where she would be if she were only taking welding classes.

When SPS and MSU spoke with these students, one common theme emerged among all three. They each said they want to work at Paul Mueller Company after graduating high school.

Powell said he wants to work at Paul Mueller Company after graduating and can see himself working here for 20 years. Owen said that he would definitely recommend this experience to his friends.

We are honored to develop these young, talented students, and look forward to where their future takes them.
