MCC had the opportunity to visit the Arkansas State Capitol during National Apprenticeship Week. Steve Turner, John Bain, and Daniel Kelly attended a meeting with Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders as she issued a proclamation recognizing the importance of apprenticeships.

As a thank you, Steve presented the Governor with a Build My Future NWA box and a welded “diamond,” just like the ones students created at our exhibit.

MCC is grateful for the opportunity to share what this event means for students, industry, and the future workforce. Happy National Apprenticeship Week.

Another exciting aspect of the XNA Terminal Modernization Project was MCC's Electrical team installing a parking guidance system throughout the airport parking garage to help drivers quickly locate open parking spaces.

You will see visual indicators throughout the garage and signage at the entrance showing how many spaces are available.

Technology like this is becoming standard at major airports and MCC is proud to help bring it to Northwest Arkansas!

From March 2023 through March 2026, MCC crews worked day and night shifts to complete electrical and lighting upgrades throughout the XNA Airport terminal modernization project.

More than 28,000 safe working hours were logged while working inside an active airport environment. Projects like this take skilled tradespeople who pay attention to the details and take pride in doing the job right.

This facility had not seen a modernization project of this scale since 1997, and the MCC team played an important role in helping bring it to life.

At the passenger drop off area outside the XNA terminal, MCC installed lighting within the new canopy structure.

One of the special requests from the XNA Board was that all wiring be completely concealed inside the hollow steel tubing.

That level of detail required careful planning and craftsmanship from our electrical team.

The result is a clean, modern structure that welcomes travelers the moment they arrive.

For many visitors, XNA Airport is the first place they see when arriving in Northwest Arkansas.

That is why projects like this matter!

MCC crews helped complete electrical work across the terminal including lighting upgrades, escalator systems, baggage claim electrical, and parking garage guidance technology.

The result is a brighter, cleaner, more modern airport experience for travelers.

This terminal had not seen an upgrade of this scale in decades.

Our team is proud to have played a role in helping modernize one of the most important gateways to the region.
