Stone flattening process. After we receive rough block stones, we flatten them by hands one by one. Once this process is done, we wait until they are completely air dry. We inspect each stone, then we stick them to colored backing aluminum plates. These aluminum plates make Nano Hone a unique stone maker!

We make this huge lapping disk at home using our diamond resins. We make other products like Strops, Groomers, Plates, Files and most popular Truers.

Another Sakura season is back to our yard 🌸

We get to see them only a few days out of 365 days which makes Sakura so special. When strong winds or rain comes, it would be even shorter.
As Japanese say, the older you get, you appreciate them more and more. Enjoy talking while they are here in our yard😁

We had a special surprising guest at Nano Hone booth at a trade show. Captain Michelle from “Wicked Tuna” kindly enough to try out our Truer🙏

Honestly, we had no idea what kind of woman can catch a 1000 lb bluefin tuna solo!???
Amazing! Tough! And hours of fighting! What a mental toughness she has!

YOU can maintain your kitchen knives between professional sharpening services with Nano Hone truers. Here, we start stropping using the Green side (50 micron), then move on to the Blue side (3micron). Green side is coarser than Blue side. Practice this move while watching TV!
