There’s just something about this time of year… 🌱

The sun’s out a little longer, the dirt’s calling your name, and gardens all over town are starting to come back to life. If you’re feeling that itch to plant something, you’re definitely not alone—we’ve been right there with you!

We’ve got a great selection of tomato and pepper plants (some of our favorites this time of year), along with plenty of other vegetables, herbs, strawberries, and even watermelon to get your garden going.

And if flowers are more your thing, you’ll find lots to love too—beautiful hanging baskets, bright annuals, dependable perennials, and grasses to add a little texture and charm.

The storms the other night were a wake-up call for me. 🌪️ I realized just how unprepared I was​ and I have a feeling I’m not the only one.

Living in Kansas, severe weather and tornadoes are something we all know can happen, but it’s easy to put off getting ready… until it’s too late.

Now’s the time to think ahead and put together a simple emergency kit for your home. Here are a few essentials (and a few things you might not think about):

✔️ Flashlights + extra batteries
✔️ Weather radio
✔️ Bottled water & non-perishable snacks
✔️ First aid kit
✔️ Phone chargers or backup power banks

And a few often-overlooked items:
👟 Keep a pair of sturdy shoes by your basement or safe room door (debris after a storm can be dangerous)
🚲 Bicycle helmets for kids—and even adults—to help protect against head injuries
🧥 Blankets or sleeping bags for warmth and comfort
📁 A waterproof container with important documents
🐾 Don’t forget supplies for your pets. Leashes are always a good idea
