Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description:
- Full-time second shift (2 pm – 10:30 pm) position available immediately. The job location is primarily in the Lancaster, PA area.
- Candidate is a self-starter that will plan work flow to meet productivity goals.
- Perform routine rebuilding and/or routine servicing of machinery.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
- Industrial mechanical, fabricating and machining.
- Millwrighting skills, some plumbing and electrical.
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications, troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Understand and observe all safety procedures in each plant where work is to be performed.
- Understand and perform lock-out/tag-out and hot work policies.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and maintaining an excellent attitude under all conditions.
- Must have ability to work independently and problem solve while working alone or as part of a team.
- Adheres to company policies in regard to attendance and punctuality.
- Payrate is dependent on skill level.
Education Level:
High School or equivalent required.
Other Job Requirements:
- Must be flexible with hours; able to work long hours with changing start times as needed and a possibility of shift work.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
