Looking for a part-time shop hand that desires to learn the Hydraulic repair and manufacturing trade. No experience necessary, but applicants must be motivated to learn, willing to do various duties, and have strong critical thinking skills.
We would like to find a person that wants to work 3-4 days per week 5-8 hours per shift, with the opportunity to move to full time depending on growth in knowledge and desire to stay long term.
Some things to expect are: Assisting our Hydraulic technicians in roles like running for parts, help keep work stations clean, shop maintenance projects and any other tasks our technicians need. This will be a physically demanding role, so the ability to lift over 50lbs. is an important component of the job.
Experience that would be beneficial are: Forklift operations, experience with spray paint use, and have carpentry skills.
Applicants must eventually be willing and able to learn to tear down, inspect, identify seals, and re-assemble cylinders. Our main goal for our new employee, is to learn how to measure and identify seals and repair cylinders.
Starting pay $15 per hour with the opportunity to make more as you learn and grow.
