BIG NEWS!! We are moving next month to a larger building as well as combining American Metal Fab with American CNC into a 15,500sf building. Super excited for this and the potential that will come with it. Same/more services just about 1/4 mile from my current location. Can’t wait to get all settled in. Here a few photos of the blank canvas we are going to working into. Once we are all settled in, there will be an open house. Can’t wait!!

Turns out, I should have built saw horses years ago for larger builds. As nice as my welding fixturing tables are for smaller projects, the horses are a game changer for us. Cut down the build time on this very large frame by hours!!

For some of the work we’ve been doing, they are just too large for our welding tables and in the past have tied them up making it impossible to do other jobs. So with that said, it was time to make some heavy duty welding saw horses. The A-Frame legs are almost completed, just need to weld on pads to the feet with leveling bolts so that we can get them level to one another on an uneven shop floor.

Super busy week. We built 3 of these massive shipping frames for one of our customer. Only 6 more to go. Nearly 200” long x 82” wide. Getting them out of the shop through a 14’ door was fun and exciting as well. Round 2 starts Monday for the next 3.
