About Us~
Black Hills Equipment Rentals is a growing equipment rental service, Husqvarna dealer, and repair shop specializing in lawn equipment, chainsaws, snow blowers, and other small and large engine equipment. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, reliable service, and strong customer relationships.

Position Summary~
We are seeking a qualified and dependable Small Engine Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of gas- and diesel-powered small engines and outdoor power equipment; including but not limited to - lawn equipment, generators, chainsaws, and snow blowers. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on mechanical experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities~
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues
* Repair and maintain small engines and outdoor power equipment
* Perform routine maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes,
blade sharpening, and carburetor work
* Inspect equipment and identify needed repairs
* Order and replace parts as necessary
* Keep accurate service records and repair documentation
* Communicate repair recommendations and timelines to
customers or managers
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
