We will be donating 100% of profit of all Inukshuk dog food sold in the month of August towards helping with the cost of surgery for Anubis surgery. Boulder Canyon Rescue just hasn't been able to catch a break lately.

Over the past two months, it has felt like one heartbreaking challenge after another. We lost our sweet Kenia after his stomach flipped. Despite rushing him into emergency surgery and doing everything we possibly could, he didn't make it due to his brain swelling.The loss has been devastating.

Then came Roxy. She's now battling serious issues with dead tissue in her mouth, and we're facing the heartbreaking possibility that it could be bone cancer.

On top of that, we've had two dogs returned to the rescue, an overwhelming number of calls from people needing to surrender their pets, and the daily responsibility of caring for the many dogs already depending on us. Every meal, every veterinary visit, every medication, and every need adds up, and the financial strain has become overwhelming.

And now, our hearts are breaking all over again for Anubis.
Anubis is a 20-month-old German Shepherd we pulled from the euthanasia list because we believed he deserved a chance to live. He has already overcome so much. Unfortunately, after slipping in the mud while playing outside, he suffered a severe injury and snapped his femur. He now needs an orthopedic surgeon to repair his leg, and the cost is far beyond what our small rescue can manage on our own.

As a small rescue, we never like asking for help. We do everything we can to provide these dogs with the care they deserve, but right now, we simply can't do it alone.

If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, it will go directly toward Anubis's surgery and the ongoing care of the dogs who rely on us every single day. If you aren't in a position to give financially, please consider sharing this post. A share could reach someone who can help change Anubis's future.
