It’s understandable that even well-built equipment can wear down over time—especially when put to the test day in and day out. We recently worked on an aluminum trailer used by a lawn equipment company that, despite being only a few years old, had already seen significant wear. The constant vibration from the road was causing bolts to grind against the aluminum, leading to unnecessary damage with every bump.
To prevent further deterioration and extend the trailer’s lifespan, we fabricated and installed a custom plate that allows the rods to slide through smoothly without grinding against the inner tube. This not only strengthens the structure but also helps prevent costly repairs down the road.
