Early August wasn't easy for our Gary, IN team. A power outage meant working without the usual equipment, finding workarounds, and putting in extra effort just to keep things moving. There were delays, and it was a genuinely tough stretch.

Through it all, the crew kept showing up and doing whatever it took to get customers what they needed.

A customer left us this: "Great crew! No power and still had what I needed! Best place ever for parts!"

Things are back to normal now, but we wanted to give this one its flowers. We read and appreciate every review we get, and this one hit home for a team that worked hard to earn it.

August 26 is all about celebrating our dogs — and for truckers, that celebration hits different. Long hauls mean long hours alone, and having a dog in the cab means built-in company, forced breaks, and a familiar face at the end of a hard day.

Before your trucks head out, take a few minutes to check:

📢 Storm update: Verduyn Tarps Gary, IN

Following the August 11th storm, our Gary location is still without power and operating in a limited capacity. We're not yet certain of our exact reopening date, but expect to be back to full operations sometime between August 18th and 21st.

We're still open daily for order pick-ups, in-store payments, and trailer pick-ups/drop-offs — repair and install work will start once power is fully restored. Other inquiries are being forwarded to our Detroit team.
