ing. Giorgio Umili, the founder of Umili America, was born in Sarzana, Italy. He grew up working for his father Enrico "Ricuccio" Umili, who owned and operated a metal shop near their home. Giorgio learned almost every phase of the steel business from his father. Giorgio's sons, Daniel and Bryan, have also been taught the trade, and work diligently to monitor the standard and quality that has been set before them.
