It was an absolute honor to be apart of this highway overpass dedication ceremony for two officers who died in the line of duty in my own department. It was a great opportunity to give something personal and meaningful to the surviving family members of these officers. Two multilayer replica shoulder patches with the officers names were presented to the survivors today. I blurred the lines between my profession and my passion. The stories are incredible. It was truly one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve ever had in my entire life, and I was so honored to be heavily involved.
