Big machines. Tight schedules. Tough site conditions.

This is where real progress happens.

But behind every safe and successful project is something most people never notice. Careful testing. Precise measurements. Inspectors checking every detail before the next step begins.

At AEIS, we work alongside project teams in the field to make sure quality is not assumed. It is verified.

Because strong infrastructure starts with confidence in the work below the surface.

If you need a testing and inspection partner who shows up, stays involved, and gets it right the first time, let’s talk.

This Memorial Day, we take a moment to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to the nation. Their sacrifice is a reminder of the strength and dedication that shape everything we rely on today.

As we continue to support critical infrastructure projects, we do so with a deep sense of respect for those who made it possible for us to build, move, and grow safely.

The sparks fade in a few seconds.
The weld stays for decades.

Out here, it looks like noise and fire. Steel, heat, long hours, and focus. A welder doing their craft.

But once the arc stops, the real question begins.
Is it sound? Is it safe? Will it hold when thousands of people rely on it every day?

That is where inspection quietly takes over.

Measuring. Testing. Verifying.
Not guessing. Not assuming.

Because in infrastructure, a small flaw today can become a big problem tomorrow.

Welding inspection is not just a step in the process. It is the promise that what we build will stand strong long after we leave the site.

Every project moves forward on trust.
Trust in the materials.
Trust in the process.
Trust in the people responsible for verifying the work behind the scenes.

At AEIS, our teams support infrastructure projects through testing, inspection, and technical expertise that help keep quality, safety, and performance at the center of every stage.

From the field to the lab, every detail matters because strong infrastructure starts with confidence in the work being done.

Before a structure is trusted, it is tested.

Long before results become reports, and reports become decisions, someone stands in a lab like this, cutting into a concrete sample pulled straight from the field.

Not to break it.
But to understand it.

Every slice reveals what the surface can’t. Density. Consistency. Signs of strength or weakness that will decide what comes next.

This part of the work is quiet.
Focused.
Precise.

And it matters just as much as what happens on site.

Because the confidence behind every project is built here. In controlled rooms. Careful hands. And a commitment to knowing, not guessing.

Some roles end when the shift is over.
Motherhood doesn’t.

Across our industry, women balance project deadlines, early site mornings, inspections, meetings, and long days, while still showing up at home with the same care, patience, and strength.

At AEIS, we’re proud to work alongside mothers who help build safer infrastructure every day through their dedication, precision, and commitment to quality. Their work helps create structures that communities rely on, while their presence continues to inspire those around them.

Today, we celebrate the women who carry responsibility both on and off the job site, and who continue to help shape a safer future for everyone.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at AEIS.

Construction doesn’t start with machines.
It starts with people.

People who show up early.
People who step into risk.
People who rely on each other to go home safe.

During Construction Safety Week, we’re reminded that safety isn’t a rulebook.

It’s a responsibility carried on every site, in every decision, and in every moment when someone chooses to slow down and do it right.

Because the most important structure we protect is the people building it.

Early mornings at AEIS often mean quiet job sites, rising light, and the responsibility that comes with testing and inspecting what thousands will later rely on. It’s in these hours that focus is sharpest, decisions matter most, and standards are set for everything that follows.

Every early start is a reminder that quality isn’t something you add later. It’s something you build in from the very beginning.

Steel first. Concrete second. Strength always.

Before the pour, every detail matters.

Bar size. Spacing. Alignment. Ties. Cover.

Because once the concrete is placed, there is no going back. What is inside stays inside.

Taking the time to verify placement now helps prevent cracks, failures, and costly rework later.

At AEIS, we work alongside crews in the field to make sure reinforcement is installed right the first time, so the structure performs the way it was designed to.

The Kosciuszko Bridge, connecting Queens to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway over Newtown Creek and serving over 200,000 commuters daily, underwent a major rehabilitation, including the construction of New York City’s first cable-stayed bridge. AEIS played a key role, providing welding and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections to ensure all materials met project specifications, codes, and standards.

AWS-certified welding inspectors verified fabrication shop welding activities, while SNT-TC-1A Level II-certified NDT technicians conducted magnetic particle and ultrasonic testing to detect any non-conformances or material discontinuities. Daily collaboration with the quality assurance team reinforced owner confidence, while adherence to the New York State Steel Construction Manual ensured quality, safety, and compliance throughout the project.
