Last week a team of volunteers went to Hunger Task Force, Inc. in Franklin to give back to the community. In the three hour shift, our group harvested 4,972 lbs. of cabbage. The cabbage became part of people’s meals throughout the city over the next week. Through our partnership with Hunger Task Force, we help support children, families, and older adults across Southeastern Wisconsin. It is always a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference and help fight hunger in our community!

Congratulations to June's PQVC Velocity winners: Tyler Jaskie, Geoff Ramig, Michael Langford, and Brad Jankowski! This team took on the important task of cleaning a machine prior to its realignment. Their dedication and attention to detail ensured the machine was properly prepared for the next phase of work. A tremendous amount of effort went into this project, and their commitment to excellence did not go unnoticed.

The South Milwaukee Heritage Days Parade is one of the best parades around and Caterpillar and United Steelworkers were proud to be in the lineup! It was great to see all of the support from the community! Thank you to all of the walkers and a shout out to Adam Thomas for driving our front end loader, Juan Guevara for driving his truck with the USW float, and Brian Parent for bringing out his Fabick Cat service truck! A great time was had by all!
