A great day for the Woodland Park community!

The ribbon was recently cut on the newly renovated Thomas May Memorial Park, a project designed to create a more inclusive and accessible space for children of all abilities. The upgrades include a new rubberized safety surface in the borough’s blue and gold colors, an ADA-accessible merry-go-round, and an accessible swing, allowing children of all mobility levels to play together.

Boswell VP and COO Joseph A. Pomante, P.E. joined Mayor Tracy Kallert , current and former members of the Borough Council, Business Administrator Sam Yodice Jr., CPM, and Passaic County Commissioner Lazzara in celebrating this important event for Woodland Park.

Boswell is proud to have sponsored a team of employees who raised money for the Special Olympics in the Lincoln Tunnel Challenge 5k. The energy was high at our second year in the event, and it was made special by the sense of community shared by everyone joining together to help a worthy cause.
The team was even visited by Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner who stopped for a photo with some of our participants.

We held a heart-felt event designed to spark curiosity about engineering for the next generation. Through playful, interactive games and team challenges, kids discovered how engineers use creativity and problem-solving to shape the world around us.

For the Boswell family, it was an opportunity to celebrate our shared passion for innovation, inspire young minds to pursue careers in engineering and technology, and give our team members a chance to reconnect with the simple joy of discovery.

Boswell ’s own Peter Pannucci Jr., PE Vice-President, Construction Inspection, who serves as ACECNJ’s NJTA Construction Inspection Committee Chair, was honored to speak on last week’s NJ TransAction Conference panel entitled "NJTA and ACECNJ: A Partnership Built for Success". He was joined on the panel by Lamis Malak, P.E. and Rob Higham, P.E. of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and Kevin Healy, P.E., Chair of ACECNJ’s NJTA Design Committee, as well as Joseph R. Ragusa P.E., the most recent past chair of the ACECNJ’s NJTA Construction Inspection Committee. The panel was moderated by ACECNJ President Joe Fiordaliso. Their conversation discussed the collaboration between the NJTA and the NJACEC committees which resulted in a more efficient process between the NJTA and its consultants.
